1. Reverse Osmosis (RO)<\/h3>\n

2. Ultrafiltration (UF)<\/h3>\n

However, the good thing about this filter is that it will maintain vital minerals that are usually lost in RO systems because of their tight pores.<\/p>\n

Another advantage here is that ultrafiltration systems are simple to set up, mostly because you can use them with an existing faucet. The filter, however, may need to be changed more regularly than RO systems because it is attached to the main faucet.<\/p>\n

3. Carbon Filters<\/h3>\n

When it comes to filtration, a carbon filter is the most basic option, yet it is still highly efficient. You will find this type of filter in a wide range of systems, from basic water pitchers to complex multi-level systems. As water passes through the filter, activated carbon will chemically react with pollutants, thereby eliminating them.<\/p>\n
