I am an artist, author, editor and photographer with a curiosity for discovery nurtured since childhood by parents who were interested in continual learning – about flowers, birds and the natural world in particular. I find joy in the simple things, and as an avid blogger, I love to share these with those who may be inspired to see the world with new eyes and appreciate simple pleasures.

I live in the seaside village of Kommetjie on the Cape Peninsula, Cape Town, within sight and sound of mountains and sea, which feeds all the senses and provides solace in a crazy world.
